Inception of Laser Shipping
Peter returned to Ireland, established Laser Shipping on the 1st of July 1983, pioneering dedicated transport services for the fashion industry, and introduced groupage freight to Ireland from the Iberian Peninsula, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

Business growth necessitates another move, this time to Swords, to accommodate expansion into key markets like France and Germany.

Laser Shipping relocates to Grand Canal Quay, Dublin, marking expansion and investment in digital infrastructure with the introduction of the company's first computer.

Laser Shipping extends its reach to new territories in Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Turkey & Eastern Europe, Asia & The United States., continuing its upward trajectory of expansion.

Ready for the next 40 years
Peter O'Reilly transitions to a directorial role, passing the managing director position to his son Ciaran O'Reilly, with Fiona McElroy assuming the role of Financial Controller. The company is renowned as a leading specialist in supply chain logistics, serving various industries such as Just-In-Time manufacturing, international fashion, veterinarian, pharmaceuticals, furniture, and food and beverage.
